5’ Mono/Fluorocarbon Fly Leader

Fly fishing esox leader approximately 5’ in total length, 12” of clear Seaguar 60lb fluorocarbon that connects to the 30lb Trilene Big Game monofilament with a 30lb afw swivel that prevents fly line twist when fishing.  My custom push clip allows for a quick fly swap while the perfection loop on the other end lets you swap leaders easily when needed. The push clips on these leaders work best with hook sizes 1 - 5/0 and can be used with most flies that have a skinny shank connection in front. These are best used in clean/clear water conditions, the fluorocarbon should be checked for damage after each toothy critter strike to prevent from getting bitten off.
