7-8” Articulated Dirty Chicken Fly, Dual Hook with Rattle

7-8” articulated pike/musky fly with dual hooks, Gamakatsu size 5/0 in front with a treble stinger hook in back that is connected with my custom made shank which creates a good articulation with a solid hook connection.  The rear hook can be changed by cutting off the current stinger, adding a small split ring to the shank and connecting the hook of your choice.  This is one of my best patterns for the local Des plains River especially for clean water conditions.
    This slow sinking fly works best with a intermediate fly line for shallow water conditions that range from 1-10’ and a 9 weight or bigger fly rod/line is recommended, for deeper water a sinking fly line works great.
