8” Dirty Carp Fly

8” Pike/Musky fly with 2 Gamakatsu hooks, 4/0 front hook, size 2 stinger in back connected with a nickel titanium wire. This fly has interchangeable tails and can be fished without the tail for a smaller 5-6” presentation.  Slow sinking with a solid head finish that keeps its shape after each strike, the fly may lose a eye after multiple strikes but will continue to work well regardless of the eyes so keep casting.  This is one of my best all around patterns for freshwater rivers and lakes. Made for a 9 weight fly rod/line setup and best used with a intermediate or sinking fly line.
